This review article provides an update of the advantages and disadvantages of the tests used to diagnosis hyperthyroidism in cats, as well as the pros and cons of the different treatment options for this disease (including radioiodine).

When available, an abstract of the article is included. As you will see, a few of these papers are more than 50 years old, but most were written after the first description of feline hyperthyroidism by Dr. Peterson and colleagues in 1979.
