Dear Chris, Donna, Dr. Peterson, and all of my friends at Hypurrcat,
Thank you so much for taking such good care of me these last three weeks. My mom and I really appreciate how wonderful you've been to both of us!
We love you all,

PS: And thanks to Chris Cooper, I finally have a name (remember, my mom just adopted me a short time ago from the pound).

Hi Donna & Chris,
Just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you both for all the TLC you gave me and my family during my recent stay at your condominium community. You made me feel right at home. Dr. Peterson is real lucky to have you both on his staff.
I'm doing great. Still eating, drinking, pooping and peeing. I got lots of new toys and a brand new scratching post and bed. Sure pays to be away for awhile.
It's really a "rat" race out here. I've been so busy reconditioning my family to the way I like things done. They're slowly remembering.
Well gotta go now. Time to eat and then a nice long siesta.
Love ya,
Scooch McAndris

Dear Dr. Peterson, Chris, Donna, and Hypurrcat staff,
Thank you so much for taking care of Pip Squeak (Itty). She's is like a totally different cat already. I was so pleased with your care and concern for my animal; it made me feel so secure with leaving him. You guys were so awesome and you deserve all the credit in the world.
Thank you!

Dear Dr. Peterson,
I’m writing to thank you so very much for your treatment of my cat, Lois. I have been gifted with this miracle of Lois' return to normal.
Do you know the song made popular by Cher?.... "If I could turn back time...." Well, you did; you have given me the Lois I had before she became hyperthyroid.
Much appreciation,
Charlotte Zaslaw |

Hi Everyone at Hypurrcat!
It's nice to have our little man, Fritz, home again. Thanks for taking such good care of him -- to Dr. Peterson, obviously, but also to Chris Cooper for all his phone calls and patience when answering our millions of questions with such compassion. You both made a very unpleasant ordeal much less painful!
Thanks again,
Carl and Mimi Boe, and Fritz |

Dear Dr. Mark Peterson, Chris DeMarco, Donna Ortiz, Chris Cooper, Laurie Lombardi, and Staff,
Thank you so much for your kindnesses to Max and "me" during his stay. Max has been home for over a month and we have gone through the "precaution period" and everything seems okay!
Special thanks to Chris Cooper, who kept me informed of Maxie’s daily trials and tribulations, as, well as his own, in dealing with Max." Not to mention, Donna and Laurie, who once Max got "the OK", could and would play with him. I truly appreciate you making him feel "at home" not so far from home...
Personally, not ever being separated from Max, since I found him abandoned 16 years ago, it was really hard to let him go. Hypurrcat and "its people" made it so much more reassuring and comforting in letting him go.
God bless technology and "your use of it to keep "me" connected (THE WEB CAM)!
Sincere thanks for the "such good care you guys and gals at Hypurrcat took of my Maxie. We are so happy to have him home (MIlo and Millie, the other cats), as well as the rest of the family (humans).
Thank you, again,
Barb Merry |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! A friend tells me that you must have given me the wrong cat to take home, because that this can't possibly be the Mimi she has known for years.
What a difference your treatment has made in her life -- and mine, too. She is calm, content to sprawl in front of the fire, and welcomes petting from strangers, responding with purrs. In short, she is a happy cat for the first time in her life. Her over-grooming, a trait she has always had (which I always attributed to stress), has ceased almost entirely.
Again, thank you, Chris, Donna, and all of your wonderful people that work at Hypurrcat!
Sincerely,
Maria Collins |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
I’m writing to thank you for the treatment you provided for my hyperthyroid cat Mimi. My other cat Tori loved your website -- and watched the two silhouette cats on the left move and wander in and out of view. If Mimi moved, she might look or paw in her direction, but didn't have a clue it was her.
I am certain you have many photos of cats at your site and after their treatment, but I thought you might enjoy seeing these of a cat enjoying your website.
Thank your for treating Mimi and making her a calmer and healthier cat. She certainly had luxurious accommodations and was treated very, very well, not to mention being cured of her hyperthyroidism.
Sincerely,
Maria Collins |

Dear Chris and Dr. Peterson,
We hope you both in a very happy holiday.
I wanted to let you know how excited we were to see Boots on our return from Puerto Rico on December 21st. He was just great, and he and Rocky are behaving as though they were never apart. Thank you and Chris DeMarco for arranging his return home.
Ed and I want to thank all of you for all your attention to Boots. The Hypurrcat procedure minimized what I feared to be at terribly traumatic experience for both Boots and myself. The ability to see him via the Web cam, in addition to your frequent phone calls and e-mails, were extremely comforting.
Chris DeMarco called on Saturday with his results, and as you may know, Boots is no longer hyperthyroid. We will have him rechecked in 3 months as suggested.
We wish you all great happiness in the New Year. Thank you so much for your caring.
Best regards,
Connie and Ed Nyitray |

Dear Dr. Mark and staff,
I would like to thank you for the kind treatment you and your staff gave to "Joonie". We felt so in touch with her thru the video. I had my doubts of her being away for so long, but I ended feeling very comfortable with your loving staff, especially Chris. What a terrific human being Chris is, and what a comforting liaison for all cats.
Joonie is doing just fine, and she looks absolutely like a 5-year old cat, her hair on her face has completely grown in, so she looks really beautiful again.
Again many thanks,

Dear Dr. Peterson and Chris,
Theodore is doing extremely well. He has clearly gained weight. He now sleeps like a normal person (my son says, "you do know he isn't a person ?") Theodore is doing so well and is so happy.
I just wanted to let you know how well he is and how happy he is and how much I appreciate the care you gave him. I put him on a halter/lease on the porch and sat with
him when he was still "hot" and he was a very happy kitty.
Thank you again. And his sister is also happy to have him back and thanks you.

Dear Chris DeMarco,
First, I like to thank you and Dr. Peterson for taking such good care of Juliet. When she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I felt terrible for her, and even 5 days of the medication began to have an effect on her personality. I asked for a miracle and my boney cat become one!
She is doing so well now. I know she has gained some weight because her back doesn't feel boney and bumpy anymore.
Thank you again,

Dear Dr. Peterson,
First, thank you, Donna, and Chris. Thank you all for taking care of Sam.
When I got him home yesterday, he was energetic and hungry. He is eating California Natural, sent over by Pet Bowl, in the chicken and brown rice flavor. He is also eating the Eukanuba I got from Dr. Campbell. He is keeping all the food down, with no vomiting. His coat looks much better, but of course he is still too thin.

Dear Donna and Dr. Peterson,
As you can see from her photo, Maxi's very happy to be home and she's back to her old lovable self! By the way, I brought her in to see Chris DeMarco for a blood test last week, and everything came back right on target!!! Her T4 was completely normal at 1.8 !!!
The best news of all was that Chris told me that Maxi was a "pussy cat and so sweet" while they drew her blood. I guess Chris and I were preparing for the worst, and Maxi forgot all about her trauma, and was a stellar patient. Please share the photos with Chris Cooper so he can see the softer side of Maxi that was hidden away during her treatment. Thanks again to you, Chris Cooper and Dr. Peterson for all that you have done for Maxi and me!!

I want to thank you in your staff, especially Chris Cooper and Lori Lombardi, for treating my cat Dotty at Hypurrcat last September and making her better.

Dear Dr. Peterson, Chris Cooper, and Christina DeMarco,
I just want to say thank you for all that you did for Casey during her treatment. I'm sure her care and attention to her was superb because when I brought her home she was not in the least bit confused or upset. Her wild meowing has stopped, she has gained weight, her coat is nice and full, and she seems to be quite content.
I had my doubts there for awhile prior to bringing her to Hypurrcat for treatment, but thanks to all of you, her sister Cali will have Casey with her to celebrate their 17th birthday together. I can't thank you enough for all the devoted care and attention she received, so I will once again say THANK YOU so very much!!!!
Regards,
Cheryl Benanti
PS: I'm also sending you a picture of Casey. Also, thanks so very much again, for "giving us back" our Casey. |

Thanksgiving 2005
Dear Dr. Peterson and Chris Cooper,
I adopted my cat Cowboy in 1997 from a shelter, where he
had lived for 5 years. At 20 pounds, he had become too large
to be easily adoptable.
Because of his hyperthyroidism, Cowboy had lost a great
deal of weight and weighed only 11 pounds on December 3,
2004, the day he was referred to you at your Hypurrcat facility.
I had complete confidence in you because, if you remember,
you had diagnosed and treated my dog, Max, in the early
1980's. So I knew you and your staff would do your best
for Cowboy. As expected, Cowboy returned home from Hypurrcat
on December 28th after 3 weeks, happy, thriving and cured
of his hyperthyroidism.
Cowboy had dentistry in March with Dr. Miller, who subsequently
found a growth in his chest. Last summer, that cancerous
mass was removed, and we were given a guarded prognosis.
Through it all, Cowboy remained unflappable and high-spirited.
He has continued to gain weight and now is back at his original
20 pounds!
Whatever the future holds for this dear cat, he has now
had the gift of a very happy year thanks to your remarkable
treatment. And a healthy dose of good luck!
Forever grateful...at a time for thankfulness.
Lois Forman and, of course, Cowboy |

I just wanted to say thanks to Chris Cooper, Chris DeMarco
and of course Dr. Peterson for curing my cat, Mr. B, of
his hyperthyroid condition.
Thanks also for taking supremely good care of him at
your Hypurrcat facility. It was of course traumatic for
Mr. B to be away from home, but I know that Chris Cooper
in particular went to great lengths to make him feel comfortable
and Chris certainly knows a thing or two about cats and
their (sometimes demanding) temperaments. The change in
Mr. B since he returned home has really been remarkable.
He acts like a cat seven years younger! Heıs more active
than he was previously and Iıve seen him jump and leap
in ways I thought Iıd never witness again. Also amazing
is the change in his coat. His fur is so soft and healthy
looking nowreally a huge change!
Again, thanks very much taking such good care of Mr..
B. Iıve attached an image of him, taken just yesterday,
so that you can see how handsome and healthy he looks.
Best, Steve Daniel |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
Last night our cat Barley returned home from Hypurrcat
after his treatment with radioiodine. I wanted you to
know how pleased we are with Barley's transformation from
hypercat to happycat. Barley immediately resumed his normal
routine as indoor/outdoor cat, had a few soft words with
the younger cat, and asked us, "Isn't my dinner ready
yet?" He looks terrific: better coat, clean eyes,
cheerful disposition. He was hungry but not ravenous,
mildly thirsty but not parched, and he did not vomit.
Only his purr was slightly raspy. This is a happy cat!
My wife and I want to thank you for your remarkable treatment
of his hyperthyroidism; he is a rejuvenated cat good for
more years of loyal service. We want to thank Chris for
his extraordinary, expert and loving care of Barley this
past week. We are most impressed by the whole process
and have already recommended you to NYC friends who have
a cat in a similar situation.
It was clear to us that continuing to treat Barley with
Methimazole and anti-nausea medication was a poor long-term
solution. He looked and felt awful, he was always hungry
and likely to throw up, and losing weight.
Thank you so much, Sam & Bitsy Tatnall |

Dear Chris DeMarco and Dr. Peterson,
Just a note to say thank you for caring so much about
my little girl, and for putting up with her mommy. You
made her absence from home easier for me to deal with
by taking the time to give me daily updates. Chris, you're
a lovely young woman with a very caring heart---and may
God bless you for that.
With my sincerest gratitude and best wishes, Jeanette
Reyes
PS: My cat Misty Mouse wrote a note for you too!
Hi Chris,

Dear Dr. Peterson and Chris Cooper,
I cannot thank the both of you enough for helping my little
girl Cookee (Turtle Girl, nicknamed by your staff) get
back to her old self. Ever since her successful treatment;
she has gained weight, her fur has grown back, has stopped
her daily vomiting and, much to her four sisters' chagrin,
has gone back to being bossy!
Words cannot express my gratitude for your kindness (both
to me and Cookee), dedication and love of animals.

Dear Dr. Peterson,
I just wanted to write to thank you for your handling
of my cat Fritz a few weeks ago. It is such a relief to
find a facility such as yours that understands how to
treat cats for the benefit of all of the animals involved
-- both the felines and their guardians.
Between the description of the facility complete with
cat entertainment, the daily calls, and especially the
web cam, I felt entirely at ease, and am tremendously
grateful.
Fritz is doing excellent and I could not be more pleased.
Please pass on my thanks to both of the Chris s involved,
and again, my gratitude.
Until when, farewell.
Hypurrthanks!

Dear Chris Cooper and Dr. Peterson,
Thank you again for taking such good care of my Emily.
I know she was not one of your easier patients, and you
somehow managed to make her stay tolerable. Thank you
also for keeping in such good touch with her admittedly-neurotic
mom. It was a rough spring in my household. On May 2nd,
I had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor; several
weeks later Peggy's beloved cat (and Roscoe's older brother),
Ripley, died at the age of 18. So, it feels great to have
our Emily home; will be even better when her forced confinement
end on July 12, but we're managing. And it's of course
great that she's no longer hyperthyroid!
All the Best, Jane |

Dear Chris Cooper and Dr. Peterson,
I just want to let you know that Jules is gaining weight
very nicely. I am so happy that we sent Jules in for this
treatment because he is really doing very well. Thanks
so much for taking such good care of him and taking the
time to speak with me each day that he was with you. He's
still an old guy but I'm not sure he'd still be here if
we had not done the treatment. He has not vomited since
he's been home (except for the time he ate too much cat
nip) It is truly remarkable.
Thanks again.

June 2, 2005
Dear Uncle Chris and Dr. Peterson,
I've been home a little over a month now and I thought
I would write you a letter to let you know how I'm doing.
I'm happy and healthy (because of you and Dr. Peterson)
and proud to report that I am a lot less thyroid driven.
I don't beg as much, and I'm eating less. My thyroid level
is down to 0.4 ug/dl and the other Chris says this is
fine. I'm not hypothyroid, just adjusting. Speaking of
Chris DeMarco, Mom and Dad were very concerned and really
at a loss about the prospect of what was going to happen
to me. Chris educated them by showing kindness, understanding,
and patience over the phone. She reinforced a positive,
passionate feeling about the process and outcome. So Mom
and Dad also thank her very much.
My Mom bought me mice like the one you gave me, but
I kept losing them so she just buys me more. She's good
that way. I want to thank you for calling my parents every
day. They tell me over and over again how much that meant
to them and let them sleep better. I'm still very affectionate,
and they love that about me. Dad sits with me every morning
and brings me to Mom so I can kiss her goodbye before
she goes to work to help the children. Miss Chickabee
is her usual loony self, but I think she's happy
to have me back home. I'm sure she thought she was the
next to go. We play together and love each other up, just
like before. I even let her play with my mice. Maybe she'
s the one who keeps losing them. No matter, the supply
keeps coming. So that's what I have been up to. I thank
you again for all you did for me while I was at Hypurrcat.
Please know that all you do is so very much appreciated
by all the cats in your care.
With all my love, Mr. Nabor Marino
P.S. I've been taking typing lessons. MEOW for now! |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
Thank you for your patience, dedication, and scientific
curiosity that kept you on the path to pioneer this treatment
for cats. How many hearts you have healed including mine
by making it possible for so many people to enjoy more time
on Earth with their pets and for so many cats to enjoy restored
health.
Although the gift of life can be enhanced, and perhaps measured,
by technology and expertise, it is the immeasurable bounty
of the heart that you work has affected so strongly. For
your vision and compassion, I am truly grateful.
When some goes the extra mile to make your day, to make
you smile, then very special thoughts are due to someone
very kind like you!
Thanks very much,

Dear Dr. Peterson and Everyone at the Hypurrcat Facility,
We were shocked when we learned of our Boo's hyperthyroidism,
but our fears were quickly dashed when we learned of Hypurrcat.
The website took away any mystery from the treatment and
recovery process. We made our appointment, brought him
in, and he was on the road to becoming himself again!
The ability to see Boo via your web cam put us completely
at rest, and helped us get through some long work days
during that week as well. Before we knew it, we were bringing
him home the recovery he made was astonishing! No more
frantic yowls, racing heartbeat, and no more eating massive
amounts of food and losing weight. In fact, Boo's weight
came right back on after only a few weeks!
His eyes regained their brightness and his coat has improved
dramatically!
Hypurrcat is very much the definition of professionalism
and genuine care, and we will always be grateful to all
of you for curing our Boo.
Thanks very much,
Andrew and Jessica |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with the results
of the Hypurrcat treatment on my cat, Logan. As you know,
we first brought Logan to the vet because he began throwing
up every day. Once our vet said that he might have hyperthyroidism,
I did some research about this condition. Vomiting and excessive
shedding were two of the common symptoms. It occurred to
me that Logan was probably shedding more than he should
be.
Also, Logan had not been playing with his toys, but I attributed
this to maturity, even though he is only 8 years old. However,
now that he is home after your treatment, he is playing
with his toys again. He is no longer throwing up. He is
not shedding, and his fur looks like it did in his youth.
The positive changes I see in him are truly remarkable.
I also want to say that Chris DeMarco was extremely helpful.
Her guidance, comfort, and support during this difficult
time were greatly appreciated. Chris Cooper's daily reports
were insightful and informative. I sensed that Chris Cooper
understands the eccentricities of each cat in his care and
does his best to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
Both Chris's are treasures that you should be proud of.
I would recommend your treatment to anyone who has a cat
with hyperthyroidism. It is worth the cost and the temporary
separation anxiety that both pet and owner experience. Being
able to see Logan on the web cams was a big plus!
I am grateful to you, your team, and your organization,
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Deborah Sampson |

Dear Dr. Peterson,
I just wish to thank you for the treatment and the care
that I received in your Hypurrcat facility. Chris Cooper
and the rest of your staff at Hypurrcat were just wonderful.
They made my stay very pleasant. The daily report from
Chris and the web cam were greatly appreciated by my parents.
That really eased their minds while I was away from home
for the week at Hypurrcat.
You certainly have a great facility and treatment program.
I can't thank you enough for making me feel better. I
understand I'm not sick anymore. What a great feeling!
Thanks a bunch,
Princess and Bob Tseng
PS: I am happy to report that she is totally cured and
fine |

Dear Dr. Peterson, Chris DeMarco, and Chris Cooper,
Thank you all so very much for the treatment you gave Piglet,
but even more for the devotion and concern you showed both
of us. I'm sure that all of the cats and their humans are
treated with equal care, but you all made it seem as if
it were only for me and mine. I'm so very thankful I found
out about the Hypurrcat Center, that you were able to help
Piglet and he's doing so well, all thanks to all of you.
From the first moments when I spoke to Chris DeMarco who
gave me such a feeling of assurance that all would be well,
Dr, Peterson's professionalism and understanding, to Chris
Cooper's special descriptions of Piglet's redesigning
his space - the best proof of how appreciative I am
I 've already recommended all of you to several
people.
So again, many, many thanks,
Piglet and Mirian Fettman |

I
just want to thank Chris Cooper for helping my cat Callie
go through this difficult time away from me and for contacting
me every day, so that I would not worry about her. His
dedication and downright love for our pets is so obvious
and his sense of humor about the situation is terrific.
He deserves recognition for the wonderful job he does,
for the hours he puts in, and the people he puts up with
when we are having trouble dealing with our "babies"
being away from us.
Thank you Chris with all my heart.

Dear
Hypurrcat Staff:
As
promised, attached is are photos of your "girlfriend"
Minnie. She is doing great. Being the assertive girl that
she is, it only took a day after coming home from the
clinic to establish herself once again at top of the family
hierarchy. (We have a dog and another cat).
Thanks
again for taking such good care of her. After doing all
the research (including your excellent website), I was
convinced that this was the right treatment for Minnie,
but I was really apprehensive about leaving her in a clinic
for a week. Chris DeMarco's reassurances helped me to
make that final commitment and make an appointment. And
then when I met the Dr. Peterson and Chris Cooper, I knew
immediately Minnie would be in good hands. I could tell
right away that Dr. Peterson was a cat person. And when
Minnie settled into Chris's arms, I think it was her way
of telling me that he is an okay guy. Well, he was a lot
more than "okay"! I think it is great the way Chris gets
to know each cat as an individual and how he had something
unique to say about Minnie each day that we spoke. It
shows that your staff really care about each one of your
patients. You really made the ordeal so much more bearable.
THANK YOU.
Many
thanks again to Dr. Peterson and his whole staff for such
a great treatment for such good care.
Sincerely,
Susan Rosenblum |

Dear
Dr. Peterson, Chris Cooper and Chris,
Just
wanted to thank you all for saving Cookie's life back
in October. I'm sure Chris Cooper remembers my calico
- she wasn't exactly Ms. Congeniality! Cookie just made
it to her 17th birthday thanks to your treatment. It was
rough going for a while- her appetite wasn't good, she
was drinking all the time (and she was pulling her fur
out for a few weeks). But the diarrhea she was suffering
from stopped completely after her treatment, and she was
much calmer. Her last blood test revealed a completely
normal T4. She seems to be doing much better now and is
more affectionate than ever. Yes, I know it's hard to
believe but she is very affectionate at home!
I
especially want to thank Chris Cooper for his exceptional
care of Cookie- a very difficult patient- and his very
compassionate phone calls to me every day (and night).
It was such a hard time for me and Chris was wonderful
to me.
Again,
thank you very much for saving Cookie's life and allowing
her to reach 17. She is much loved and pampered and I
owe her life to you. If you encounter anyone who is hesitant
about the treatment either because of the age of their
cat or the aggressiveness of their cat, I would be happy
to share my story with them.
All the best,
Susan Starker |

Hi
Dr. Peterson,
I
wanted to give you an update concerning my cat Ginger,
who was treated in early part of December in your Hypurrcat
Bedford Hills facility. Ginger's little hip bones are
now covered and her head has rounded out. She is not flying
around, but not lethargic or piling on weight, either.
She seems happy, eating a normal amount of food and drinking
water normally. She seems ever more loving and intelligent
from her ³world experience² away from home.
One
of my blessings this holiday season is Ginger, who is
healing so nicely thanks to your care and expertise.
Thank
you again!
Alice Winslow
P.S.
Apparently as a result of her treatment, because those
thyroid tumors seemed to suck up all their nutrients,
she is no longer arthritic. She seems to now long need
Cosequin at all! |

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful care that was
given to my cat, Rascal, while she was with you in early
December. She is doing very well and looks so much better.
She has definitely gained weight.
Chris
Cooper took very good care of her and I appreciated the
phone calls regarding her progress. I am sure Chris treats
each cat as if they were his own. You, Chris Cooper, and
Chris DeMarco all are doing great work!

We're thrilled with the results and presumably so is he!

To
Dr. Peterson and Chris:
Thank
you for taking such good care of Poochie. Your tremendous
commitment to these cats is evident. I appreciate the
daily status calls, even at odd times on the weekend.
I felt fully confident in the level of care that Poochie
received during his stay with you.
I
am also grateful that my cat was able to undergo the radioiodine
treatment by the Doctor who developed the procedure. The
surroundings in the cat treatment room (birds, music,
fish) demonstrate a deep concern for the cats, while the
web cam system indicates your concern for the owners.
If
you have anyone considering your program for their cat,
I would be happy to supply a reference. Interestingly,
I learned that this great care by the Doctor who invented
the procedure in a high caliber hospital with all of the
amenities above (fish, birds, video cameras, etc.) was
about the same price as other radioiodine facilities.
I
don't know why anyone would choose another facility!
Sincerely,
Lucille Flynn |

To
Dr. Peterson and the Hypurrcat staff,
Thank you so much for taking care of my cat Angel Face.
I'm really sorry I haven't written to thank you sooner.
I was happy to hear that she was a good girl for you and
that she didn't give you any problems. Her follow-up blood
results came out perfectly, and she is feeling so much
better.
As
you know, I was so worried about her being away from me,
but I was so proud that she did so well since she had
never spent anytime away from home before. Thank you for
being so good to someone I love. I appreciate it more
than you will ever know.

care,

Dear
Dr. Peterson and Staff (particularly Colleen who called
me every day as I was promised),
Idgie
fell in love with Dr. Peterson the day she met him - which
was the day she was being taken to the facility in Bedford
for her radioactive treatment. She hadn't a clue what
lay ahead....I, however was so sad at the thought of being
separated from her for a week. In retrospect, this was
silly of me. Idgie has the absolute right instinct about
the "who" situation. She fell in love with Dr.
Peterson, curled up in his lap and began to purr....because
she knew he was going to help her. Idgie came home after
a week - a bit sullen, but so happy to be home. In no
time at all, she emerged into her same old lovable, irresistible,
sweet self, but free of all the symptoms of her disease.
Every day I thank Idgie for teaching me not to be afraid,
and for trusting in Dr. Peterson and his treatment and
his staff.
Thank
you all.

Dear
Dr. Peterson,
This
is a long overdue thank you for the wonderful care you
and your staff provided Simon last summer when you treated
him at your Hypurrcat facility. I can't tell you how much
it means to Paul and me. Simon is now back to a healthy
8.5 pounds with perfect thyroid levels and has a glossy,
thick winter coat. He's very playful and full of energy.
At night, he gallops around the apartment chasing light
shadows, and he's a very good catnip mouse hunter. Every
day Simon brings Paul and me love and joy, and there is
no sound sweeter than his purring us to sleep.
Thank
you so much for giving us more days together!
Best
wishes, Kimberly and Paul
P.S.
Please thank Colleen for being so sweet with Simon! |

Dear
Dr. Peterson,
I
wanted to thank you for treating my cat Barnabas! As you
know, his serum T4 level on release from the clinic was
normal at 1.0 mg/dl. As instructed, I'll bring him to
my regular vet in 3 months to check his T4 level again.
Other than the anxiety of being without him for a week,
the experience was a very positive one. I would certainly
recommend your radioiodine treatment to anyone I know
with a hyperthyroid cat. My thanks to your wonderful staff
as well, especially Chris and Colleen.

Dear
Dr. Peterson and Staff,
Hope
your holidays have been happy ones! I just wanted to let
you now that Pitn (whom you successfully treated for hyperthyroidism
4 years ago) was recently put to sleep because of heart
failure and blood clots to her hind paws and legs.
Although
she had been diagnosed with a serious heart problem many
years ago when she was only 2 years old, the end was still
sudden and unexpected.
As
you know, Pitn was a wonderful and special cat and I miss
her terribly. You allowed me to leave a bird tape and
family tape with her during her during the treatment,
which you played during her hospitalization.
Thank
you so much for everything you did for her.
I
really do appreciate it.
Carolyn
P.S.
Though you would enjoy having a copy of a poem I wrote
for Pitn, which was published this year! |
